Painting Seasonal Color Palettes

Have you ever noticed that each place has its own distinct set of colors? This watercolor workshop explores the seasonal colors found in your home, backyard and neighborhood. Through Zoom gatherings and our own personal practices, we will develop color palettes that reflect your surroundings. Learn and refine your color mixing skills, and how “limited palettes” can create a wide range of subtle color. The act of inspecting small things invites you to look carefully and can become a mediation in itself. The workshop is for both the experienced artist and the complete novice, as well as travelers looking for a unique and memorable way to capture impressions of places.

This 2-part class will meet once a week for an hour. Included are demonstrations, inspiration and time for painting.
